Our Story
Born of a passion,
built on rigour.
Maison Clara Rosae was born from a simple and deep conviction: the world's most beautiful stones deserve to be accessible to the craftspeople who transform them into works of art. Between the mines of Vietnam, the lapidary workshops of South-East Asia and European jewellers, there existed a distance — geographical, cultural, economic — that we decided to bridge.
We have travelled the roads of Indochina, visited the stone markets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, met lapidaries in their workshops, learned their language and their craft. We have selected the finest, built lasting relationships of trust, and begun constructing a supply chain founded on total transparency and mutual respect.
Today, Maison Clara Rosae is the direct link between the treasures of the earth and the hands that transform them into beauty.

Absolute authenticity
All our precious stones are offered untreated — no heating, no filling, no artificial irradiation. What you receive is exactly what nature created. We certify this through international gemological certification reports on request.
Total transparency
We know the origin of every stone we offer — the deposit, the miner, the lapidary. This traceability is not a marketing argument: it is a fundamental ethical requirement that guides each of our purchasing decisions.
Fair remuneration
We pay our lapidary and pearl-farming partners at the fairest price, by eliminating unnecessary intermediaries. Respecting their expertise and the dignity of their labour is a non-negotiable condition of the way we work.

What we master
Applied gemology
We evaluate every stone according to international gemological criteria: colour (hue, saturation, tone), clarity (inclusions, fractures), cut (proportions, symmetry, finish) and carat weight. Our gemological training enables us to identify treatments and certify the unmodified nature of the specimens we offer.
Pearl cultivation & selection
From Japanese Akoya pearls to large Edison pearls, sculptural baroques and exceedingly rare carved specimens, we master the selection criteria specific to each category: lustre (teri), orient, surface, shape, grading and nacre. Every strand is assembled with a rigour that guarantees absolute uniformity.
Origins & traceability
Our stones come primarily from Vietnam, one of the world's richest deposits for sapphires, spinels, tourmalines and aquamarines. We work directly with local miners and lapidaries, allowing us to guarantee the traceability of every specimen from mine to your workshop.
Dedicated service
We support jewellers, jewellery designers, jewellery schools and concept stores with a personalised and confidential service. Bespoke sourcing, calibrated lots, technical advice, material training — we are far more than a supplier.
