Does Maison Clara Rosae work exclusively with professionals?
Yes. We primarily work with independent jewellers, jewellery designers, jewellery schools and concept stores. We may also work with informed private collectors on request, but our catalogue, pricing terms and service are structured for professionals.
How can I access your prices and availability?
Our prices are confidential and reserved for our partners. To access them, you may request our catalogue via the dedicated form, or book an appointment for a personalised consultation. We display no prices online — this confidentiality is a cornerstone of our positioning and allows us to adapt our terms to each partnership.
Are all your precious stones untreated?
Yes. All precious stones in our catalogue are rigorously untreated — no heating, no filling, no artificial irradiation. This authenticity is the fundamental value of our offering. We source directly in Vietnam from trusted lapidaries and can provide international gemological certification reports on request to certify the unmodified nature of the stones.
What are the countries of origin for your stones?
Our precious stones — sapphires, spinels, tourmalines, aquamarines, peridots — come primarily from Vietnam, one of the world's richest deposits for these species. We work directly with local miners and lapidaries, allowing us to guarantee full traceability for every specimen.
Do you offer gemological certifications?
Yes, on request. We can obtain international gemological certification reports for stones that warrant it, in terms of unit value and importance to your client's project. Certification timelines and costs are to be discussed during your consultation. For exceptional untreated sapphires, we systematically recommend a reference gemological certification.
Do you offer bespoke sourcing for specific stones?
Yes — it is in fact one of our most valued services. If you are looking for a specific stone, a particular calibre, a precise hue or an optical phenomenon such as asterism, we can activate our partner network in South-East Asia to find the specimen that precisely meets your requirements. This service is available to established partners.
What is the difference between your Akoya pearls and ordinary freshwater pearls?
Akoya pearls are cultivated in saltwater in the Pinctada fucata oyster, in Japan and southern China. Their nacre is finer but of superior optical density and purity, producing the mirror lustre characteristic of Akoya pearls — unmatched among cultured pearls. Cultivation takes 2 to 3 years, compared to a few months for industrial freshwater pearls. The result is a pearl of markedly superior quality and intrinsic value.

Upon receiving your appointment request, we contact you within 24 hours to schedule a meeting — by video conference, WhatsApp or at your boutique, according to your preference. This meeting is an opportunity to present our catalogue, understand your specific needs and assess the relevance of a partnership. It entails no commitment.
Do you offer a secure delivery service?
Yes. Precious stones and pearls are dispatched via secure, insured courier services suited to the transport of precious items. Delivery and insurance terms are specified during your consultation and detailed in our professional catalogue.
Can I view your pieces before ordering?
Yes. We encourage you to arrange a meeting — by video conference or in person at your boutique — to view the pieces under real conditions. For finished jewellery and pearl strands, an in-person visit to your establishment is possible for established partners.
